In many large cities, the sheer mass of events results in huge poster walls with colourful announcements. For weeks and months, one poster is stuck there over the other. 

In this way a kind of diary of the urban culture of a city develops. I leaf through it by tearing off individual layers and try to find exciting structures, colours, places, pictures or words.

Others may consider the torn off posters as garbage.

For me they are a colourful mirror of the pulse of a city.

In vielen Großstädten entstehen durch die schiere Masse von Veranstaltungen riesige Posterwände mit bunten Ankündigungen. Über Wochen und Monate wird dort ein Plakat über das Andere geklebt.

So entwickelt sich eine Art Tagebuch der urbanen Kultur einer Stadt. Ich blättere darin, indem ich einzelne Schichten abreiße und versuche spannende Strukturen, Farben, Orte, Bilder, oder Wörter zu finden.

Andere mögen die abgerissenen Plakate als Müll betrachten.

Für mich sind sie ein farbenfroher Spiegel des Pulses einer Stadt.
